I’ll keep this short and sweet, as I think the summary pretty much says it all. I love Jamie and Claire, so returning to it in Dragonfly in Amber was bittersweet. This novel has Claire and her daughter, Brianna, back in Inverness, Scotland on holiday. Claire decides to tell Brianna the truth about her father and what happened to her all those years ago. In Claire’s retelling, the story picks up where the last novel left off and I have to say that there was a good portion of this book {namely while Jamie and Claire are in France} that bored me to tears. However, as soon as they got back to Scotland I was a happy camper. I’m ready to start on the third book!! Can’t go too long without it!! 🙂

Ps. I’m listening to this series, rather than reading it and that’s been the best decision ever! I’m able to enjoy the story whilst work. I suggest it to anyone interested in this series.

Buy on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and The Book Depository.
