Sunday Funday Book Haul

Happy Easter, friends. {If you don’t celebrate Easter then Happy Sunday!} I decided to round up the books I purchased this past week for my Book Haul post! I’m really excited to read these, except for maybe A Game of Thrones…the whole series is daunting. *sigh* Anyway, without further ado…*drum roll*

Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes

Dust and Decay {Benny Imura, #2} by Jonathan Maberry

This Side of Salvation by Jeri Smith-Ready

This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith

The Name of the Wind {The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1} by Patrick Rothfuss

While Beauty Slept by Elizabeth Blackwell

The Parallel Apartments by Bill Cotter

The Martian by Andy Weir

A Game of Thrones {A Song of Fire and Ice, #1} by George R.R. Martin

If anyone has read these and liked/disliked or plan to read any of these, then feel free to leave a comment letting me know! Happy reading, fellow booknerds!

  1. I want to read Game of Thrones but am daunted by it too. It’s one those books that I don’t really want to read, it’s more that I want to have already read it. But I can’t watch the TV show because of my read-it-first pledge. I’ll wait and see what you think of it!

    • YES!! Exactly! I want to have already read it. I just know there are a lot of characters, who all end up dead it seems. I’ll never watch the show as I hear it’s pretty bloody and…*whispers* has lots of sexuals. Just not my cuppa to watch. I’ll totally post a review!!

  2. I’ve been wanting to read Game of Thrones for a long time now (I ❀ the series), but it's really daunting – and I've hardly got any spare time until summer, and already have so many other things on my TBR list that I want to read more! I will get to it eventually though! XD
